Fiberglass containers made of composite materials
Fiberglass containers. Purpose: chemically resistant reservoirs made of fiberglass-based composite materials with the capacity of up to 800 m3 are designed for storage and transportation of various aggressive substances. The production range includes horizontal and vertical reservoirs and transport reservoirs on the metal supporting frame.
Reservoirs may have the following characteristics:
• minor weight, as fiberglass plastic density is 4 times lower than steel density;
• long-term reliability in thermal regime from -60 °С up to + 50° С;
• atmosphere resistance;
• chemical resistance to corrosive mediums:
- sulfuric acid Н2SO4 up to 40%
- hydrochloric acid HCl up to 37%
- orthophosphoric acid H3 PO4 up to 80%
- ammonium hydrate NH4OH up to 28%
- caustic soda NaOH up to 40%
- sodium chloride NaCl - 250 g/l
- calcium chloride CaCl2 - 250 g/l
- diesel fuel, benzine, kerosene, solvent, white spirit.
JSC Avangard owns a unique technology of fiberglass reservoirs production working under redundant inner and outer pressure, working underground, and reservoirs for drink-ing water. According to the client’s specification it is possible to manufacture chemical-resistant capacitive equipment for any corrosive mediums.
Fiberglass reservoirs produced by JSC Avangard are exploited by such organizations as:
